A mob has lynched two men at Nyon, a suburb of Makurdi, the Benue State capital, after accusing them of being theives.
The suspects have been burnt to ashes after they allegedly attempted to rob their victim of his motorcycle in Nyon layout at about 1am on Friday April 19.
Witnesses stated the suspects have been nabbed and lynched after the commercial motorcyclist raised an alarm whereas the 2 have been allegedly struggling to grab his bike from him.
In line with the witnesses, the business motorcyclist had informed the mob who got here to his rescue that he picked the 2 passengers (suspects) from Katsina Ala road in Excessive Stage space of Makurdi city and that they informed him (bicycle owner) to ride them to Nyon, a sub city space of Makurdi.
