Toyin Abraham publicly squashes beef with Mercy Aigbe

Nigerian actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham-Ajeyemi has squashed her beef with Mercy Aigbe in a social media post.

Toyin Abraham took to her page to pen down a heartfelt writeup to her colleague Mercy Aigbe a few hours after squashing beef with filmmaker, Funke Akindele.

Despite the intense competition among Nollywood actresses, Toyin Abraham stated she thought it was time for them to support each other instead of putting each other down.

Following her advice, Toyin Abraham praised Mercy Aigbe for her diligence.

She wrote;

“Today, I need to have fun two folks in Nollywood. Occasions in time previous attempt to make us opponents and everyone knows how fierce competition may be in the industry.

The competition usually result in people in the industry taking sides thereby creating an ecosystem of opponents and tear-him or her Down syndrome.

Please it’s time we have fun ourselves more rather than compete with ourselves. We have to create an ecosystem of more successful people so we are able to all have extra capability to create more successful people.

@realmercyaigbe,I have fun the lady that you’re turning into. You got here to the boxoffice in December as a first-timer, and also you proved your mettle. You gave it your all. You may have contributed to the story of strong women in Nollywood. You made many ladies proud.

Thanks for writing a greater story for womanhood when the world is busy writing a different narrative about women. You’re a bonafide star. If you come to the cinema in December, I owe you one post (Lol, you know I have to sell market o).
