One month of being a house owner in the uk
2.5 years of moving into the UK and now we now have our personal house
After we determined that we’re each going to start out our lives as newlyweds within the UK and travelled 4 days after our wedding, one question that kept popping up from my family and friends was ‘why’?
Infact, My dad asked me, you may have job right here in Nigeria, you may have a successful business too and your husband has a thriving job..why are you leaving all this for the unknown? I attempted to placed on a bold face and defined that we had been doing this as a result of that is what we needed however a tiny bit of my heart was scared, what if it doesn’t work out? What if all of the scary abroad tales are true, what If we fail, what if…? I used to be sincerely afraid at some point.
Packing your whole life into two suitcases and moving was the scariest thing I had ever done, and every time I bring up these fears to my fiancee [now husband], he would simply constantly remind me of God’s promises. He kept emphazing that God is on this journey with us and we is not going to fail. One vital prayer we stored praying earlier than travelling was that “God will go forward of us and make all crooked locations straight ” and God did simply that.
God has blessed us past imagination since we moved into the uk and he has enlarged our coats. I nonetheless get up each morning in our stunning 3 bed room semi- indifferent home and all of it looks like a dream.
…However goals at all times come true and God did it!
My advice to you: Set the bar incredibly high for your self today. Aim for the mountains, goal for the moon. Possibly you’ll not attain your original desired outcome. Possibly you can find your self able you by no means imagined.
However you’ll by no means know till you attempt.
Your dreams are valid. Keep aiming for the stars.
Congratulations to us
