Kelly Rowland has addressed the now-viral footage of her having a verbal altercation with an “aggressive” safety guard on the 2024 Cannes Movie Pageant pink carpet this week. In an interview with AP Leisure, the R&B singer and actress defined that the incident took place when the guard violated her boundaries.
Rowland additionally claimed that the guard solely handled her with aggression compared to different actresses who “didn’t appear like her.”
“The lady is aware of what occurred. I do know what occurred. And, I’ve a boundary, and I stand by these boundaries, and that’s it,” the 43-year-old stated. “And there have been different ladies that attended that carpet who didn’t fairly appear like me, and so they didn’t get scolded, or pushed off or instructed to get off.”
She added,
“I stood my floor and she or he felt like she needed to stand hers however I stood my floor and that was it.”
