NAFDAC enforcement officers, aided by intelligence from the Nigerian Military’s 15 Subject Engineering Regiment in Badagry, have dismantled the operations of Mr Chinedu Okafor, an unlawful drinks producer working from his residence at No. 24, MTN Street, Badagry.
In response to an announcement from the company, Okafor’s suspicious actions caught the eye of the Nigerian Military, resulting in his arrest and subsequent handover to NAFDAC officers on the Ports Inspection Directorate, Seme Border. Upon inspection, officers evacuated all tools and supplies used within the manufacturing of illicit drinks, successfully shutting down the unlawful manufacturing facility.
Investigations revealed Okafor’s longstanding involvement on this prison exercise, which has doubtlessly compromised regulated alcohol drinks within the Badagry space.
The company talked about that Okafor will face prosecution, and all offending merchandise shall be destroyed, with an estimated worth exceeding fifty million naira (₦50,000,000)
