Images taken at many filling stations present that they remained under lock and key all through the weekend. People who opened had long lines of vehicles, waiting to buy fuel.
In the meantime, the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has mentioned that the fuel scarcity being experienced throughout the country will last for two more weeks (read here).
